Meadowlark Hill is the name given to a set of high hills located in northwest Bismarck overlooking the Missouri River. Bismarck State College and the historic Mandan Indian Site are both located on Meadowlark Hill.
A sharply curving section of Burnt Boat Drive that runs down the hill towards River Road has many notorious nicknames, among them “Dead Man’s Curve”.
