Neil O. Churchill (1891-1969) was a local entrepenuer and philanthrapist, best known as co-owner of Corwin-Churchill Motors and for his involvement in the creation of one of the nation’s first integrated baseball teams in the 1930s. Churchill also served as mayor from 1939-1946 and purchased the Prince Hotel in 1927.
