The Parkade opened in 1970.
The Parkade was the first multi-level parking garage constructed in downtown Bismarck, opened in 1970. Thrifty White Drug, Red Wing Shoes, and other entities are housed within the Parkade.
In addition to the Parkade, downtown Bismarck has five other parking garages, including the 3rd Street Municipal Garage, and privately-owned garages at U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo, Burleigh County Courthouse, and Radisson Hotel. Construction on a seventh garage is expected to begin Summer 2010.
