Sakakawea Statue

The Sakakawea Statue is a 12-foot high bronze statue erected on the grounds of the North Dakota State Capitol in 1910, near the present-day site of the Heritage Center. A replica is currently displayed at the National Statuary Hall within the U.S. Capitol.
