The Bismarck Civic Center
is a 10,100-capacity public venue which hosts such things as
seminars, concerts, and sporting events. It is home to the
Dakota Wizards Basketball Team.
Bismarck Civic Center opened in 1969.
The Civic Center was built in
1969 on land partially donated by the
Wachter Family, who were in
the early stages of developing the adjacent
Kirkwood Mall at the time.
